About This Project

David Meleca designed the new shopping center of Eton Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere, Ohio. Eton is a totally rebuilt upscale retail shopping mall in suburban Akron with 139,000 S.F. existing and 105,000 S.F. added retail space. Each shop and restaurant is treated as a separate  architectural entity within the whole community, evoking the feel of a European downtown. The design introduces architectural variety centered around a pedestrian-friendly shopping and dining experience.
