About This Project

This is a municipal pool for a suburb of Columbus. The buildings are organized around the leisure pool with slides and play areas and the competition pool with lanes and diving boards. The entry pavilion, housing staff offices and public restrooms, has a large open loggia that serves as the gate into the pool. The design is inspired by English farm buildings, using traditional materials with straightforward details in a simple, classical style. This was a collaboration between Environmental Design Group, Water Technologies, Meleca Architecture, Gutknecht Construction, and the City of Dublin.
